Fees

PLEASE NOTE: Payments made by credit card are not processed by CPNS, they are processed by a third party provided identified as OlaTech. Therefore, please note that the name OlaTech will appear on your credit card statement, not CPNS.
You may pay by credit card after completing the form. You have the option to pay by certified cheque or money order. Personal cheques will not be accepted. If you are paying by certified cheque or money order, you may submit your payment by mail to:

After you have completed the application, uploaded the application documents to the secure portal, and payment has been received, you will receive an email confirmation that you will be licensed by the College of Paramedics. You will also be provided with a receipt. You should save your receipt as your fees are income tax deductible.


Initial Registration and licensure Fee

The College requires applicants to pay a registration and licensure fee of $450.00 upon making an application to the College. If an applicant is not successful in the application process, the College will retain a $100 non-refundable fee from the original $450.00 paid by the applicant. The applicant will receive a refund of 350.00, if they; withdraw their application, fail to complete the application process within 6 months of their original application submission date, or are denied registration and licensing.


Annual License Renewal Fee

The annual license renewal fee is $450.00. If an applicant is not successful in the application process, the College will retain a $100 non-refundable fee from the original $450.00 paid by the applicant. The applicant will receive a refund for the balance if they;
  • withdraw their application,
  • fail to complete the application process within 6 months of their original application submission date, or
  • are denied licensure.

Annual License Renewal Late Fee

Late fees are applied at the rate of fifty-dollars ($50) payable on April 1 and escalating weekly by twenty-five dollars ($25) beginning on the first Monday after April 1 to a maximum of $250.


Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulator (COPR) Exam Application Fee

The COPR exam application fee is $28.75 and is non refundable


Verification of Certification/Registration for a Current and Former Registrant Fee

The Verification of Certification/Registration for a Current and Former Registrant Fee is $30.00 and is non refundable
